The Town of Superior is located just north-west of Denver and south-east of Boulder, on Highway 36. Superior is easily accessible from anywhere in the Denver Metro Area and just a short drive from Denver International Airport (DIA).

Take I-25 North ,Take exit 217 on the left to merge onto US-36 W toward Boulder
Take the McCaslin Blvd exit toward CO-170 W/Superior/Louisville, Turn left at S McCaslin Blvd

Lodging: The Renaissance Boulder FlatIron Hotel is the Host Hotel for the Superior Morgul. The closest hotel, it is just two blocks from the course start/finish line. Located in the Main Street development of the Flatiron Crossings Mall, the Renaissance allows ease of access to all the weekend events. Stay where the cycling teams stay. Traffic Plan: The Town has worked in conjunction with the Boulder County Sheriff's Department, Rocky Mountain Fire Protection District, Colorado State Patrol and City and County of Broomfield to develop a traffic plan that provides a safe situation for the entire race course. Access to all homes and businesses in Superior will remain open during the event, but there may be brief delays for some drivers to allow for race traffic to pass. Emergency vehicle access will not be limited in any way during the race. Details regarding traffic impacts for each day of the event are described below.

​On Saturday the Summit Criterium will be held on Coalton Road across from Community Park. The course will make a loop from the start/finish on Coalton around Rock Creek Circle and include a portion of the Summit neighborhood before coming back out on Rock Creek Circle, then back to the start/finish on Coalton. Racers will travel in a counterclockwise circle through the course.  Both lanes of westbound Coalton will be closed from Rock Creek Circle/Parkway (adjacent to Land Rover Flatirons) to the west side of Rock Creek Circle from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Both eastbound lanes of this same stretch of Coalton will be closed from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. A portion of the north lane of Rock Creek Circle around the Summit neighborhood will be used for the race course. Traffic traveling north to Rock Creek Circle from West Yarrow Circle, Castle Peak Avenue, West Torrey's Peak Drive will be able to proceed eastbound on Rock Creek Circle towards the Rock Creek Parkway (adjacent to Land Rover Flatirons)

On Sunday the featured Superior Morgul Road Race will follow the classic Morgul-Bismarck loop made famous by the Red Zinger Bicycle Classic and subsequent Coors International Bicycle Classic that was held here from the late 1970s through the early 1990s. The westbound lanes of Coalton will be closed from Rock Creek Parkway through to McCaslin Boulevard as a neutral start area for the racers. The eastbound lanes of Coalton will be closed from Indiana Street to McCaslin. Racers will shift over to the eastbound lanes of Coalton and then cut through the roundabout and head south on McCaslin to begin the race near the top of the hill at Highway 128. All lanes of McCaslin Boulevard will be closed during the race day from the north side of the intersection with Rock Creek Parkway up to Highway 128. McCaslin Boulevard south of Rock Creek Parkway will be open in both directions, but one lane of southbound McCaslin will be closed for racers between Coal Creek Drive and Rock Creek Parkway.
